A Family Moving Company
Moving Squad was founded by the Disorbo family, but the narrative starts in the 80s when Mr. Disorbo borrowed $2,000 from his dad and began helping Fort Lauderdale -Miami families move with his truck and small storage space in Broward. The founder was 21 at the time. The moving company entrepreneur opened his first moving company called The Right Move in 1988. The Disorbo’s are credited with closing the gap in interstate moving between home moving customers and independent movers, whose trucks were often idle awaiting sporadic moves. The moving company entrepreneur also helped start several successful local, long-distance, and Interstate moving companies that are still prosperous today.
Three decades later, Mr. Disorbo is still innovating with his newest Florida moving company – Moving Squad. The South Florida local moving company offers in-state and local home-apartment moving, as well as storage for residential and commercial movers. The dream for The Squad is to be the local moving company leader in over 250 U.S. cities through franchise systems.
