My family and I undertook a large and somewhat complicated move back in February 2020, with drop-off of our packed items at three separate destinations. Even while planning our move, I was nervous and intimidated about how we would find a crew to help us with the experience. I called three different companies for quotes, and to discuss the logistics of this move: one small local company, one large national “brand name” company, and Moving Squad. Moving Squad was by far the fastest, most prepared and responsive, and most helpful company in our initial phone consultation. The agent on the phone, Ryan, seemed to understand quickly what our situation was, and discussed the way in which he would recruit different resources and staffing to undertake our project. He also went beyond, offering suggestions to me about where to find packing materials that I might find useful to self-pack some delicate artwork I had, and also info on local businesses at our destination city to help us settle in. The quote for our move was provided to us in a clear contract, and we had ample time to review and feel comfortable with everything. On the day of the move, the driver of the truck with the moving crew calling me 45 minutes in advance and gave me their ETA in a warm and friendly tone. The crew was AMAZING, so friendly and upbeat. On a stressful and hectic day, they made things feel manageable and easy. They were very professional and careful with our things, going so far as to wrap up some of our furniture and belongings in plastic wrap and just taking extra steps to show us that they would be careful with our things. I was deeply appreciative. I’ll be sure to call upon them again if I need their help in the future. Overall, we had a great experience and would strongly recommend.
